A Welcome from Pastor Steve

Welcome to the Prince of Peace website! Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is an active, virbrant community of Christians in the Gaitherburg, MD area which seeks to deepen our connections to God and to one another as we learn, grow, care and serve in Jesus' name.

Jesus gave his first disciples the gift of a renewed relationship with God and he called them into community with one another.  Through their community, they praised God, supported one another in faith, and served others in Jesus’ name.  Through our church we seek to do the same.  Prince of Peace’s mission as a church community is to grow as modern disciples of Jesus by deepening our connections to God and to one another.

We hope that our website will:

• Help you learn a bit more about us and how we seek to live our faith;
• Move you to visit us in the near future to get to know us better; and
• Provide you with some online opportunities to help you grow and serve even if you can't physically visit us.
