gathering soup on Souperbowl Sunday

Happening Soon...

  • Souper Bowl Sunday is February 5th. Join us as we participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring, a national movement to fight hunger and poverty. Bring a donation of canned beef stew (preferred), hearty soup or contribute $1. Contributions will be given to Gaithersburg HELP, our local food pantry assisting our neighbors in need.

  • Please join us for great burgers at FIVE GUYS in Kentlands on Wed., February 8 from 5-8 pm.  Bring in a flyer and 20% of your purchase will support our Youth Group.

  • Prince of Peace has an Architect!
    Prince of Peace has officially signed a contract with Kerns Group Architects to work with us on developing our Master Building Plan! On Sunday, February 12 at 12:30 pm and on Thursday, February 16 at 7:30 pm, the architects will lead Architect Open Forums. These are informal discussion times when the architects will be present to listen to members and hear about their hopes, dreams and priorities for the building and the mission that the building will serve. 

  • Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper – Join us for a pancake supper on Feb. 21, 2012 from 5-7 pm! We'll also burn palms from last year to make ashes for this year's Ash Wednesday service!

  • PoP Coffee House, Saturday, February 25, 7:30pm. Save The Date! Come enjoy a fun, relaxing evening of eclectic Irish music and acoustic rock at our first ever PoP Coffeehouse. Regina Koenig's band, The Eclectiks, and guitarist Steve Plewes will provide their unique brand of fun Irish music and acoustic rock.  Monetary donations will be accepted for the benefit of Habitat for Humanity.
