Youth ministry at Prince of Peace is central to the life and mission of Prince of Peace! We provide youth with relevant opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, worship, service and education. Programs are offered for all ages starting with our youngest members and continuing into college.
Splash! is our Cradle Roll ministry, especially designed to help and support parents of newborn through age 3 children as they begin their journey of faith together.
Sunday School is offered for all ages from September through May. Each year, we offer classes for children from age 3 and up, and a variety of classes for adults as well!
Vacation Bible School is held in the middle of each summer for children pre-school through 5th grade. Many middle school and high school students help adult leaders as we have a great time celebrating and learning about God’s love! Learn more about the 2010 VBS.
Confirmation is a vital part of our program as we help middle school youth to deepen and grow in their faith through learning, service and fellowship.
Workcamp is an important part of our ministry of caring for others in Jesus’ name. Sponsored by Group Workcamps, each year about 35 members of Prince of Peace, mostly High School youth, spend one week together helping repair the homes of elderly, disabled and low income people. High School Youth are engaged in a variety of servant, fellowship and study activities. They meet regularly for fellowship, pizza and study each Wednesday from 5:30 -7:30 pm, participate in Workcamp each summer and have their own praise band!
College age youth get together whenever they’re home from school. They continue to be a vital part of our ministries at Prince of Peace, and during the summer, they meet each Wednesday evening at 9 pm for fellowship and discussion of faith topics.
