If you need prayers whether for an illness, family relationship problem, job, stress - whatever is concerning you concerns God, too, please email the PoP Prayer Hotline and your request will be immediately prayed for once your email is opened, and then it will be forwarded to others on the email prayer team. Your prayer request may be as simple as a name or initials only, or very specific, with name, reason and what you wish the Lord to help with, always with the understanding that God will answer prayers according to his will. This prayer request will be for one time only, however, please mention in your e-mail request if you would like daily prayers for a week, month or longer and the prayer team will be glad to do it.If you would like to join the PoP e-mail prayer team, please contact the PoP Prayer Hotline. Let us know and your email address will be placed on the PoP e-mail prayer team distribution list.
To proceed with an email prayer request, after receiving and opening the e-mail, take a few seconds to read, then pray immediately; length of the prayer is up to the individual. No further action on your part is necessary.
Please note:
Concerns are, or course, understood and appreciated, but it wouldn't be wise to have someone who is perhaps already under duress or stress to have 50 phone calls or hundreds of e-mails! It might be OK in some instances, but unless requested, the purpose of the prayer hot line is for prayers only.
- All prayer requests are kept confidential and are not sent to anyone outside the immediate prayer team
- No phoning of the person is involved - in fact - it is requested that you not contact the person who is placing the request unless they specifically ask one of the prayer members to do so
- Do not email the person if you happen to notice their email address in a forwarding...again, unless specially requested, this is strictly a prayer line
