Every Sunday from 9:45-10:45 we have education for all ages.
Meet the teachers and learn more about the plans for the classes on Rally Sunday, September 7! We have Sunday School classes for pre-school, elementary, middle school and high school. It’s a great way for kids to learn about their faith. No need to register. All are welcome.
Learning more about our faith and values isn't just for kids. Prince of Peace has a range of adult classes and activities to deepen our understanding of faith. Check out the list of education opportunities below and come when you can.
New Members Class: Find out more about Prince of Peace, September 14 – October 19. (Sanctuary)
Lutheran Course: Eager to learn more about the basics of what it means to be a Lutheran Christian? Join this introductory course led by the pastors, November 2 – December 14. (Sanctuary)
Bible Study: Every Sunday, Join Kurt Junghans to delve into the Gospel of Matthew. This study is for all levels of Bible knowledge. (Youth Center)
Daniel - Spiritual Living in a Secular World: Bob and Bridget Pavlak invite you to grab your coffee and gather for a 12-week session using the LifeGuide Bible Study on Daniel. The class will feature scripture, group discussion, personal reflection, and questions to complete at home. (Meet in the Fellowship Hall at 10:00 after the elementary school opening.)
Kingdom Living: This September through October 19, join A.G. Yeakle to explore Kingdom Living using the book “The Gospel of the Kingdom” by George Eldon Ladd. (Classroom adjoining Fellowship Hall)
The Screwtape Letters, by C.S. Lewis: Read and discuss in a relaxed environment with Charlie Stockman and Mark Ludder. People may come as frequently or infrequently as they wish. Bring a copy of the book with you but come even if you don’t have a book. Every Sunday beginning September 14. (Pastor Steve’s office)
Creation Care: October and November we’ll discuss how conservation and sustainability of natural resources is part of our spiritual growth and commitment to God. Exact dates TBA
SOS – Season of Service: In late November and December, discover how service agencies answer the call for help in our backyard and around the world. Exact Dates TBA
